Husband and father. Kegger and golfer and above all a friend to many along the way. Mark began his career in Radio Broadcasting in 1993, graduating from Algonquin College.
Two years later he met Leslie, and together they worked in the Restaurant industry for a number of years. After working at The Black Tomato in the BywardMarket in Ottawa, they were wed in 1998.
Following their wedding, they left Ottawa bound for the west coast to start their life together. Mark started working for the Keg in West Vancouver later that year. He advanced quickly and became General Manager of the Guilford Keg in 2002.
His professional and sympathetic leadership was respected and appreciated by all who worked with him. Mark’s true passion was for his family. Leslie, Audrey and Noah were his driving force, giving him strength and courage to battle his disease.
Mark’s love for the game of golf was such a big part of his life; every chance he got he was out on the course.
Today as we remember Mark's passion for the game, lets celebrate his life as it was lived – with love, with hope…and with a smile.
